Development represents a strategic goal for every country of the world. But it also is a “complicated issue”, given the multitude of (micro and macro economic) approaches that academics and strategists have proposed for development. By this paper we consider competitiveness as measure and indicator of development – based on World Economic Forum researches and findings.
